Achieving widely recognised standards, including those not usually associated with the security industry, is one way of showing clients that they are working with a credible and trusted company.
As a leading security provider, Magenta Security is approved by the SIA to Approved Contractor Status (ACS) in key areas. This helps us improve performance standards and creates a safer working environment for our staff and the people we are there to look after.
Achieving ACS allows Magenta to meet our client’s requirements, and it has already provided us with additional business opportunities. It is also recognition of the professional services we offer and of the continual training our staff undergo in order to provide high levels of customer satisfaction.
But Magenta’s commitment to standards goes beyond achieving recognised industry standards. Our BS EN ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems registration is proof that we are determined to maintain high standards; however we aim to exceed the industry standards of BS7499 & BS7858 to which we are registered and audited.
In addition, Magenta was the first manned guarding security company in Europe to achieve ISO 14000, and since then has been the industry leader on environmental issues. And much of our success in winning new business can be attributed to our environmental and CSR strategies.
Our employees are our asset and all members of staff have been able to study for NVQ Level 2/3 in relevant subjects. Staff are also separately trained based on clients requirements. Not only does this commitment lead to a safer working environment, but greater staff satisfaction and lower staff turnover. On average, the security industry has a 30% employee turnover. Magenta Security has had a turnover of just 9.7%.
Achieving these standards shows clients our willingness to work towards improving efficiency. And going beyond the standard expected of a security company shows our commitment to increasing professionalism within the company, and raising the profile of the security industry.
